Speedmaster 3861 Chronograph pushers rotating freely

Hello All,

i recently purchased a speedmaster 3861. I was winding my watch in the dark and accidentally “wind” the chronograph pusher instead. This was when i realised that the reset pusher was able to rotate quite freely around its axis. The pushing of the pusher functions alright. The on/off pusher is able to rotate as well, but there is more resistance and a scraping sound when i do so (suspect its the springs).

I would like to ask other speedmaster 3861 owners if they faced a similar issue and if i should be worried. To the best of my knowledge, the pushers from 1861 and 861 speedys are unable to rotate (please correct me if i am wrong)

Yes, they rotate. It's not a problem.

No rotating on my 1861 or my Reduced.
