Speedmaster 145022-68 - not a Dot Over 90!!??

Looking once again at a Speedy (145022-68), this one has a bezel that looks really really odd!

Comparing with other pictures the 90, 140 etc with the dots looks way off...?
And the spacing between the numbers and the dots are different..
The serifs on the sevens also looks a bit "short"?

Have I "stumbled" on a fake (reproduction) one??🙁

Don't worry about the bezel; it's a later (probably late 90s) type. Not a DON...

I do feel that its not correct, haven't seen the combo..
And the accent in the "tachymetre"....?

You have stumbled on a Non DON bezel. What does that tell you ? have a read here on the forum? that is covered a million times....

Looks like a standard late 90’s onwards bezel to me.

Might as well mention the hands (modern luminova or aftermarket?), and the bracelet is too small. It could cost a few bills to make it right on top of finding the right bezel.

The bezel and hands have been replaced with service parts at some point in its history. Nothing nefarious about it - just a previous owner who wanted his messed up original bezel and hands replaced with new ones during a service.

if you are looking for an all-original Speedmaster, this is not the one for you. Don’t even bother buying it Hopi g to source the proper bezel and hands to “make it right.” That will be throwing good money after bad and will rarely get you what you want. Just be patient.

Soooooo, not that I want to start an argue with the Senseis here,
but I do wonder if the bezel is a fake?

The one I posted here has serifs on the sevens and an accent on the Tachymetre (as written before),
but bezels from the 1990:s, and also DNN bezels dont look like this one?
If there are posts/articles on this, please do guide me to them....?

Just trying to learn and clear my head..🤦

So the one I have been whining and bitching about should be a B5, Style 1...
