Good morning all of you, my name is Mattia.
I kindly ask all of you for an expert opinion regarding the originality of this speedmaster 145.022 st71.
I am aware that the bracelet is later and that the crown is not correct for this model (but I have one at home to replace it).
Do you think the rest is all correct?

I thank you and the Forum staff.

Welcome -

Have you read through https://speedmaster101.com/

You're going to need much better in focus photos of the dial for a proper evaluation, but it's certainly not fake.

Seems as expected for a -71.
What are your concerns?

above average condition. Small down check for hand lume being a lot darker then dial lume.

bracelet is modern.

Looks legit, but better photos would help. Bracelet looks like a 1479 which should have 812 end links. Not the correct bracelet for a ‘71, but one of the better Speedmaster bracelets in my opinion.

Is the darker hand lume on the -71s considered normal? I’ve seen it on several -71s….

Normal no
Common yes
Probably depends on varying degree of moisture exposure over time

Thanks again for your answers. I think the dial is consistent as well as the bezel but I'll add some photos for your confirmation. I have a doubt more than anything about the fact that the serial number 322xxxxx should correspond to the 72' but the caseback has the writing 71st. Is it wrong? Or were previous casebacks also used in that year? The crown is definitely wrong as you can see and I will replace it.

I guess pushers (shinny neck) and crown (incorrect).

For a -71? Hmm on the pushers. But the crown?

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that the crown is too small in diameter.

There is a huge amount of space between the crown and the walls of the case, which gives the whole thing a very unusual look.
