    Hello guys,

    Hope you're doing well.

My first post here! I have opportunity to buy 145.022 74st speedmaster with step dial and original 1171/1 bracelet with 633 end links. The watch i would say in really good condition, recently serviced..

My question is: What is current market price for 145.022-74 speedys with step dials?

    Thank you!

Menu->Price Chart: and do yourself a favour. Read more than just the numbers but also the remarks.

I don't believe the 1171/1 was introduced until the early 80's. It's more likely to have been an 1171 originally with a -74.

-74's are not supposed to have step dials

but they sometimes have, on a large scale and it's commonly accepted as authentic.

Ok so if the serial resolves to 74 or 71 and the caseback says -71. My value is collector plus 800 for the bracelet on Speedmaster101.

that being said to pay top dollar you need to verify the movement and serial number which might not be easy right now.

Great looking example. 74 with step dial is a score imho...and that dial looks to be in fantastic shape. But as Foo said, check out the serial number is in range with the caseback reference.

i'd expect to hear the opposite... i.e. case back says -71, made near '74... hard to picture how they had a stamped caseback two years before the listed date.

    it is a gorgeous face!

There are extracted -74’s with step dials and that serial range.
    There are some theories.
