Hello friends of OF, I'm currently looking for my first real vintage Speedy (before 1990's), and figured I'd gradually dive into it by looking for a 145.022-68 Transitional. I've been going back and forth looking on requirements, but I think I'm just looking for the basics listed on speedmaster101.com: Applied Metal Logo Dial with long indices. Low serial number calibre 861 (26m to 27m). Date stamped -68 in the case back. Dot Over 90 Bezel. Spear or square end Chrono hand. Step Dial. Preferences: light/no polish case. Bracelet/strap optional. Original crown and pushers preferably. Previous service a plus but not required. I know these are quite rare so it may be a long shot, so any help/leads is appreciated tremendously. Also, advice on other things I should be looking for in 145.022's would be fantastic for a vintage newbie like myself. Preferably in the CONUS. Thanks again OF!
Thank you to all who have reached out to me; I appreciate it tremendously! Putting the search on hold due to Basel expectations. If nothing interests me after news breaks, the search will absolutely continue.
