Hands match indices, but might have been repainted in the past. In the metal, it does not have the jarring contrast new hands would have with the aged dial. The flaking paint and exposed metal on the hands match the patina of the overall piece. I'm really happy with it. Not a pristine example, but I prefer the aged look. Bezel has faded to a denim blue color. The JB champion took me a while to land, having lost a few auctions even before I owned the watch. I had to up my price limit, but the bracelet arrived in almost NOS condition. So comfortable! Unless I am using it incorrectly however, it seems too big for wrists below 7 inches. Mine fits perfectly, but I have it on the smallest adjustment possible. Am I missing something? Also I think the straight end link vs the horned version of the JB Champion keeps the 1-2 mm of exposed springbar from being so noticeable. Thanks for the positive comments!
