Hello guys. I've collected vintage Omega's for a little while. Mainly pre-1960 (although I do love Dynamics) but have recently turned to looking at getting a "Moonwatch". I saw this on Chrono and wondered what was the view of the many Speedmaster experts on the forum? https://www.chrono24.com/omega/1967-pre-moon-omega-speedmaster-full-set-105012-don--id6315024.htm
It looks nice, but for that price I would expect with original bracelet, not polished case and not relumed dial and hands. Ok it has box and papers, but still to expensive!
Thanks for that. I did the search and now I understand. I see that this watch has been the subject of another thread. It seems to be very difficult to find a good 105.012-65 that is correct. Every one I come across seems to have one issue or another
I think it's hard to find a "good" vintage indeed. These watches are more than 50 years old and not produced in the same quantities than now so yes, the nice ones are difficult to find, but it's an interesting thing to do...
Beautiful pieces... [emoji9][emoji106] But placing a metal (containing) bracelet on your wrist right next to a valuable watch is something I just don't quite understand?
That why they are not worth that much! A heart on the other side......look at all those heartless bastards, you can get away without one
