    Hello,

The time has come to get my 1966 105.012 Speedmaster serviced. It has a 321 mechanism so will need someone who knows what they are doing. I am reluctant to send off to Omega as they will take 3 months to do it.

Can anyone recommend an independent watch maker near London UK that is experienced and has done a good job for them?

    Thanks

    Will

    Hi Will

Perhaps Omega UK's official vintage restoration specialist located in Essex: http://www.swisstimeservices.co.uk/

Usually takes 3-4x weeks and has the benefit of a 2yr guarantee....

    Best - Neil

Both of those are good bets. If you want an independent then definitely go to stefan.

    mmm.

Last time I spoke to STS they told me that Omega UK had told them that all Cat 4 watches HAVE to go to Bienne.

321 is cat 4. And in spite of STS being the finest workshop for 321's (and that includes the factory....just look at what they put in museum) they have been told that they have to send them to the factory.

    I shudder...
