Given the condition issues I’ll suggest this watch, even with bracelet will sell for around £7500-8000 Inc fees, so around $9000-9500. The market is soft at the minute.

Whether this is down to summer lull or wider reaching reduction in consumer spending is up for debate (I think the latter).

Could be both, people don't have much money to spend plus we're all craving for holidays after COVID ?

$9000 sounds like a lot no? They sell usually around $15000 but they're in a better condition.

Well that’s part of the game, we can’t be certain where it’ll end up but I’ll stick with my estimate.

Ah yes, found it. It’s not in my watchlist so I must’ve discounted it on condition.

I still think we’re looking at £7500-8000 all in but we’ll see tomo.

I won’t be bidding.

Sold for £4800 plus fees to a buyer in Hong Kong. Clearly it’s poor condition ruled the day.

Did you bid yourself?
I got cold feet after discussing it's condition jere and did not want to exceed £4000 (before fees).

£4800 - that's about £6000-6500 with fees. Not sure how this person will manage importing the watch in HK.

There’s no import fees into Hong Kong. They just have to arrange shipping.
No I didn’t bid but watched on-line.
I think you were right to bail. A better one will come along.

There are a lot of red flags and question marks there. The lack of a movement shot means you could have a bucket of rust or poor paperclip repairs. You could also have a Seamaster movement.

I think the price was about right. At least he wont have far to go to get the bracelet repaired.
