Speedmaster 105.003-64 full restoration, what would you prefer?

    I bought this 105.003-64 last year without band in relatively poor conditions.
    At arrival the watch was completely serviced/restored:
    Case, dial, hands, new fat neck pushers and flat feet crown.
    Furthermore I was able to find an original ref. 7912 band dated 2/65 with #6 end links
    that I send to Michael Young (HK) for an overhaul.

    My question to the community is:
    would you replace also the original DON bezel insert or would you leave it like it is?
    Here is a very nice DON that could replace the original one:

    For what I can see on these pictures, the original bezel doesn't look bad... So keep it and enjoy it. :)

    It reminds me a post of an old rolex pepsi hitted by the sun because it was used while surfing. many people look for this autenticity

    Great piece! I'd certainly keep it as is... The other bezel looks great, yet doesn't fit the overall look of the watch as well as the current one does.
