I'm in the market for an Aqua Terra and quite like the Spectre LE. I see there are a couple on Ebay at the moment at £3500. Is this an realistic price? All I'm trying to establish is if i were to pay that and needed to sell it for whatever reason in a years time, would i lose my shirt over it?

Yes exactly like this one, is it a sensible price? I have no idea.

Hey !!! I 'd be damned !! i actually saw the only Aqua Terra Spectre LE timepiece this afternoon on display in the Omega Boutique in Gurney Plaza , Penang ,Malaysia
    Yeah...price is around that range
Estimated in Malaysian Ringgit & in Major Currencies based on latest Currency Exchange Rate after discount, after Goods & Service Tax (GST) after New Price Revision.
    MYR 22700 ☆ £3614
    ☆USD 5279 ☆ € 4729

The Manager of the Boutique tells me Omega timepieces are snapped up pretty fast by foreign tourists especially from the Middle East & Europeans because these timepieces are Rock Bottom Cheap when compared with prices in sister boutiques & retailers around the world. Just sharing some info here if it helps !

Ha! I'm selling mine only worn 4 times its mint and YES this is a realistic price. I wish it wasn't I paid £4200 and its RRP is £4650. I think the SM 300 LE has basically killed the interest in this piece but I predict it will bounce back in 6-12 months once it fully sells out in shops (can still get them new at retail as 15,007 pieces made whereas only 7007 300 LE made)
It is gorgeous though I love the blue and yellow which is subtle but colorful. Looks much better in person that the internet pics which make it look mickey mouse. Only selling mine due to a baby incoming.

One of the the nice things about the Aqua Terra in question (compared to the Seamaster 300 Spectre LE) is that it is not film-specific. Thus, when the next Bond film is released, and the next after that, the Aqua Terra will be just as timely then as it is today. My wife thinks the combination of colours used on the watch dial is really cool, and I agree. Except that I don't like the actual Bond stuff. But if you're into Bond-specific design features, the watch looks like a winner to me.

Have to say the caseback is one of the nicest I've seen in terms of an LE on any Omega. Very subtle other than that in terms of 'Bond' in the family coat of arms on the dial which very few people would know about which I think is kind of nice.

Not waterproof, but water resistant. It has leather on the underbacking so if you do get it wet, just wipe it off with a towel. Personally, I wouldn't recommend swimming as it deteriorates the strap at a faster pace.

Pretty cool "limited edition", right ? Nevertheless it is a cool watch.
