Specs on Day Date Speedmaster

Hello,
I’m new to this forum. I seeking specs on range of Black Omega Day Date models. I’ve found quite a bit, but not able to find case thickness, listed by model and year.

I see Day Date had models 12mm thick but no year listed.

Models I see for sale on Chrono 24 and EBay are generally listed with 14mm case thickness.

Any suggestions of where to find info would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Never measured mine, but the 39mm size fits a smaller wrist like mine very well.

Mine is the model above. It measures 13.7mm thick from caseback to the top of the domed sapphire crystal. Here's a sideview pic from the Fratello article on them. It shows how the crystal and bezel angle downwards that helps to visually flatten it. But it also fits so well, it doesn't wear thick like some other chronographs I've had.

This is a good article on the Mk40s, but I don't think they mention thickness specifically. I usually google a specific reference and find the answers that way.

I have a couple mk40's, but here's what I believe the the 40mm Cosmos (some say 39mm, some say 40mm) like you have pictured look like on my 7.25" wrist for reference and next to the Pro, if that helps?

The Date and Day-Date (Mk40) Speedies wont be super thin as they are based on the Valjoux 7750 movement which is a bit of a fatty. They did well to get it down to 14mm. Some 7750 based stuff is very chunky indeed.
