If it's just the winding stem missing, couldn't a skilled watchmaker just craft one? Considering the value of those watches, i would think it's worth it no?

I have it at a skilled watch maker now and the stem is very complex, it has a spring on the outside of stem and one internally.

It is a straight forward two part valjoux 72 stem. needs careful and sizing and setting up. Crown only turns 1/4 turn. There are no springs 😡

Have a issue with mine , crown / stem is floppy after unlocking , difficult to wind unless you hold the crown in exactly the right position . Surely not correct ??
