Sourcing parts

Hey guys,

I have a seamaster 166.010 and I’m trying to source an original bracelet. Only problem is I don’t know where the hell to look for one! I’d also like to know where I can source parts in general for the future, whether it’s movement parts or case/crown parts. Have you guys sourced any? Where from?

The bracelet for your watch would be a 1036 with 511 end links - the earlier 1502 with 11 end links or the current 3010 with 511 end links are basically identical and valid options, should you not be too fussy about period correctness. Note that the 3010 can still be bought from Omega brand new for about ~450$ if I remember correctly, I think @SkunkPrince will know the exact price.

Those bracelets are also called “5-row beads of rice” and can easily be found on eBay etc. What’s less easy is assessing originality and condition: length, does the clasp close tightly, how stretched is it, are the end links bent beyond repair, …

Yes, in the US the 3010/511 is $450.

No, they have a different prefix. If you email Omega on their site they will tell you the correct part number.
