If I had not impulsed a POG watch from shop goodwill last week I might go for one of these. On the other hand there are a few plates and bridge 55x listed as well for near the same price.

The weird thing is that the movements are not listed. What would anyone do with a plastic quartz movement?

The naked dial also looks off. Not sure why they do not put the sub dials at 9 and 3.

Could be interesting if someone fits a smart watch movement into one of these cases. The touch screen though would be a bit tricky. Although I did find that the LCD and the touch glass are separate parts.

My guess is that there is a new Moonswatch customizing subculture.

Maybe they broke it open because it quit running and realized they couldn't get it back together and are trying to recoup wasted money?

Or someone bought broken watches and is trying to make a buck on it by marketing them as parts? Equivalent to collecting empty cans and bottles for deposit money.

It's not the seller who would surprise me, it would be the buyer.

I would caution that counterfeits of these are plentiful and you may be buying just that.
