Solid gold watch with gold plated bracelet?

Wonder how does solid gold watch (in my case Constellation) look on a gold plated bracelet. Is there a big difference in the shades of gold? I was thinking of buying BOR and plating it. Does that make any sense?

Yep have seen that combo on vintage 34mm Rolexes where the head was 14k and the bracelet was filled. For sure as long as your plater can reasonably match the gold tone to your watch it will look just fine.

Most steel bracelets came in Gold Filled. The GF bracelets are less expensive than their steel counterparts.

If you are looking for a BOR, it would probably be cheaper, and look better to get an original gold filled/gold plated one, than buying a steel one to plate.
