This is my first listing at this fine forum. I sell and have sold previously on EBay as tikkathreebarrels and at the Christopher Ward forum as tikkathree.
This watch I bought here in 2018, I had to scratch an itch for the range of Speedmaster Mark models and whilst I have very much enjoyed owning and wearing them very occasionally, they have mostly sat on display in my home being admired. Realistically I have fewer opportunities to wear watches other than around the house and I'm currently re-evaluating what to keep and what to release back into the watch community. If grab and go is an indicator of anything I'm more a Seamaster guy than a Speedmaster.
So, my Speedmaster ref.176.0012 named mark4.5: I have checked with the previous seller and have based my description on his.
The watch is in great condition as shown on pictures. It runs well and keeps good time and has given me no concerns at all. Mostly I wear my watches on daily rotation so if I was wearing the watch today it would have been charged up yesterday evening and this evening placed back in my display case to run down.
Case: Stainless steel case, dimensions: 42 x 45mm. The case is in pretty good shape, sharp edges etc. The case was refinished in 2015 and has just one mark adjacent to the 110 mark on the tachy scale. This is only visible in some light conditions so I've included one photo which shows it clearly, far more clearly than it appears under normal light and normal wear. It is nothing major and presumably it can be polished. Please look at the photos.
Crystal: Original crystal with tachy scale. Scratch free!
Dial and Hands: Original hands and perfect dial.
Movement: Lemania 5100, but named Cal 1045 in this watch. A true working horse. It's running great. All chrono functions are working as they should. The movement was serviced in 2015 (you get the invoice and waRranty card that has expired). You will also get parts that have been replaced during that last service!
bracelet: Original Omega and very rare Holzer !
Additional to the recent new off-white leather strap the watch is wearing there is hand made tan leather rally strap not shown in the photos from pictures!
The watch will be shipped by a tracked and signed for service, carefully packed in a suitable box.
I accept payment by IBAN or, if you're happy to absorb fees, through paypal. I have only listed my native currency £UK and would suggest that google will give you a quick conversion to any other currency.
No refunds are offered unless the watch is grossly misdescribed.
