For sale is my Speedmaster Professional MKIV ref 176.009 with a cal.1040 movement in a stainless case, a companion piece to my Mk4.5 also currently for sale here. This is only my second listing at this fine forum, I have a happy history of buying & selling at EBay as tikkathreebarrels and in the Christopher Ward forum as tikkathree.
I bought this watch here in 2018 to scratch an itch for the Speedmaster Mk models since when it has had occasional use under "light use" conditions - visiting a restaurant, lunch with friends that kind of thing and otherwise has sat on display in my home. I seem to be more a Seamaster man than a Speedmaster man and, frankly, I've got more nice watches than I have opportunity to wear them all: it would be easy to just keep these watches for very occasional use but someone else should have the opportunity to get more use.
This is a great watch, very genuine. My watch habit is "wind and set the date and time of the watch this evening, wear it tomorrow and let it wind right down the following day. I'm sure the watch was designed for a greater level of activity!
The case is in good shape with a few light marks as you'd probably expect but please check the photos. There is a short mark on the crystal just inboard of the tachy bezel at 12: it doesn't show in normal use and you've really got to look for it: I'd rather show it.
The watch was serviced by STS in 2008 and again in December 2013 by a good watchmaker in West Sussex, England.
The watch comes with the correct 1162 bracelet and is currently fitted with a new leather black with white contrast stitch strap.

Everything works correctly and it keeps good time.
The photos were taken with my android device; I haven't done any post processing to change colours etc.
Shipping will be tracked and signed for and payment by IBAN is preferred but if you want to use paypal the fees are yours.
No returns unless significantly not as described.
