Hey all,

I have been living last few weeks enchanted by Omega military models and been looking to get one with a sweet deal. I came across these few candidates lately.

The watch below is a cal 23.4 "Fagiolino", as far as my research suggests. The seller tells me that the dial and all the pieces are original but hands have been restored and relumed. He asks for USD 385 for the watch.

From the pics, I understand that the watch is from approx 1939 and the caseback no is also pretty close to the serial. All in all, what are your thoughts for the deal? Can you detect anything dodgy with the watch?

Nothing military here. Does it have the Glas bezel? Get a side pics from the crown side. Diameter will be Micky Mouse...... Kind regards. Achim

Oh I thought these models were also referred to as "Military" but I've also seen them being called "Medicus", as they the first generation of centre-second watches which were at the time quite handy for doctors.

Re the bezel, I will need more pics but I also note this down as a potential issue as the photo angles above don't seem promising.

What do you mean by Mickey Mouse? Not familiar with the slang 😀

Just corrected the title, I guess it's rather military in style than reality.
