·Up for sale is the classic Tissot Janeiro (Z199) vintage chronograph. Limited edition #1454/3333. The watch is mounted on a distressed Colareb Vera Pelle strap made in Italy. Watch is in excellent condition, never polished. All functions/hand winding are working properly. Sale includes original Tissot leather strap and signed buckle (now discontinued for purchase) in near perfect condition. Also included are COSC certificate, instructions, stamped watch certificate, and handwritten receipt from original purchase in Berlin, Germany. Retail price was about $3600 when released in the 1990's, so a very high end watch for the time.
The case is 37.6mm diameter (without crown) and 12mm thick. Movement is a hand-wound Valjoux 7765.
There is no service history with the watch. I've owned for 4 years, wearing occasionally as part of a 7 piece collection. I have never removed the sapphire caseback. I can't provide a time graph readout or analytics, but note it has been accurate for my use and all functions work properly. The chrono hands resets to 12 as it should.
Watch ships next day via USPS Priority Mail with insurance and tracking. A different carrier, international shipping, or an in person transaction (Chicago) can be arranged.
