Hello everyone,
I have a 1986 Rolex Datejust with the “Porcelain Lacquered” white dial. Although not made of porcelain, due to the unique process, it creates a high gloss smooth white surface that looks very much like porcelain. The dial looks different compared to a normal white dial in terms of this reference’s glossiness and colour.
The case is still sharp and the engine turned bezel is clean without any dents or major damage. The dial and hands are made of yellow gold and along with the crisp black text contrast nicely against the crisp white dial. The dial edge does have some small wear around the 3 and 4 O’clock area but only noticeable when looking at closely.
There are some missing Tritium lume plots but understandable for a watch almost 40 years of age. The plastic plexi glass crystal has no cracks or breaks. It has the usual small scuffs for the type of material used- this can be easily polished out using paste such as ‘Polywatch’- I have not done this as I know some collectors like to leave even the glass in untouched condition.
The watch is fitted on a 62510H Jubilee bracelet with 555 end links – this bracelet has some stretch to it but is still in a very good and wearable condition.
Watch was serviced by a local watchmaker in 2022 and has the caseback service sticker in place.
The watch has been kept in my tough, watertight, dustproof, pressure equalised PELI 1450 watch case (not inc) in a temperature controlled room and opened once a month to give the movement a full wind.
Specifications:
Selling at only £4,500 or best offer including international fully insured tracked DHL shipping.

I am a watch lover and collector and occasionally sell watches and not affiliated with any brand.
