All references are made with MWO. Movement: Cal 321 second generation. Movement number 24538829, this movement is in the 105.012-66 range. Running well with no issues. Case: CB case, correct for this reference. Dial: Type B2, close T SWISS MADE T in original condition. Lume has aged to a dark brown color. A rare dial for this reference 105.012-63-66. Bezel: Correct DON bezel in very good condition, with a few small nicks around 7. Hands: Correct C1 Baton drop seconds. Looks like it was re-lumed and painted at some point. This is easy to restore, I was planning to do so but got distracted Caseaback: Type A4. Also comes with a display back from Germany. Crown: Correct Narrow legs. Pushers: This is where this watch is super interesting. 105.012 should have the wide and short pushers, this watch is updated with wide and tall pushers from a 145.012 SP. I believe this is correct, and intentional by Omega, as the case back has 145.012SP markings below the CB mark and 105.012-66. It might have been released this way, or updated as a service option. The former seems more plausible, as the case back stamping for 145.012SP is very precise. Crystal: Service replacement. Band: NA, comes with a NATO band. I am in Seattle. Will ship internationally. Payment by paypal or bank wire. $5500 +shipping.
Bump. Surprised this is still here. Someone from OMF pick it up before i send it off to ebay. Make a reasonable offer and it is yours.
Some questions around dual reference Speedmasters showed up in my PM. They are rare and this is not the only one out there. My guess is it was done by the factory to older cases as they moved to the new SP pushers. Here is on on Speedmaster101, on the bottom of this page. http://speedmaster101.com/2015/06/
"There have also been errors in production resulting in little anomalies, which in the Rolex market would have buyers scrambling to pay large sums, but so far in Omega this has not happened. Examples include bezels showing 220 instead of 200 and case backs stamped with two references." (section on Originality) Nice lookin' bezel alfanator!
Thanks for all the interest. This watch is now sold. Now the hunt is on for a 1970 861 Speedmaster Pro.
