Hi OF, up for sale is a Omega Geneve Automatic with Date Cal. 565 Ref. 166.041 Gold plated case 20 microns Case: The case is in great, unpolished condition, it's 20 microns gold plated. The lugs are nice and sharp and the original sunburst finish is still present. There are some very minor scratches and one very little chip at the inside of the left upper lug. But I'll let the pictures talk for themselves here. Caseback has an engraving for 25 years of employment 1945-1970, please look at the pictures. Dial: The dial is finished in silver, sunburst and is very clean. Bearing the applied gold Omega Logo. T Swiss made T. Tritium Hands with no cracks and tritium dots at the gold applied hour markers. Crystal: The crystal is clean, without any major scratches, the omega logo is visible in the center. Movement: Movement is the Omega automatic 565 movement with quick set date change function and swan neck regulation. Movement is very clean and runs fine, screws appear to be untouched. Quick set date change functions as it should. Service history is unknown though, i'd recommend a service if you intend to daily wear it. Mov. number is 28926xxx dating this watch between '69 and '70 according to the chronomaddox chart (matching the engraving on the caseback). Strap and Clasp: The watch comes with an original omega leather strap on a gold plated Clasp, the clasp shows some signs of wear. I refer to the pictures here. Box: The watch comes in its original red Omega Box. Box is in good condition given its age. Overall it seems like this Geneve has not seen much use in the past and is in excelent condition for a watch thats 45'ish years old. I think this would make a great entry watch, for someone who is new to collecting vintage omegas. Price is 359 € / 400 $ OBO net to me , per Bankwire, or cash F2F. A F2F in the Rhain/Main region would be appreciated . Shipping: Shipping included within Germany with InteX. Shipping within the EU with DHL insured, full tracking is ca. 27 €. For overseas shipping please contact me beforehand and we can figure something out. I will not sell to the former Commblock-States, exept if you can provide solid references, sorry. Thanks to OF for the space ! Max
