Hi all I'm really not a flipper or trader of my watches but due to my health continuing to get worse and actually finding The One watch for me I have decided to first move my Baby Ploprof. It took me over a year and a half to find an all original example and then added a few extras to it. It has an original case, dial and hands and I then added the Omega Mesh and found a Omega branded period correct IsoFrane and period correct box as well as an Omega Pen knife tool to make it as close to a full set as I have ever seen. l recieved the watch on the 4th July 2014 and then had it serviced and pressure tested at an Omega authorised service centre that was on 2nd September 2014 so whilst no longer under warranty it should be good and not need a service for a good few years. It was running approx 5 seconds fast per day on my wrist when I was wearing it and dates to approx 1974 from the movement number for anyone interested I can send them a picture as believe showing numbers on the internet may not be the best idea. I am not desperate to sell it and would rather it goes to someone that will enjoy it for what it is rather then flip it for a profit. Which is why for now I am only listing it here on this great forum and not selling it to the dealers I have spoken to to or trying to sell it @ auction. It's hard to put a value on it as there are not many for sale and none that come with all this one does and is all original and serviced properly and IMO some of the prices asked are plain crazy. I don't buy and sell watches to make money and am happy to get my money back or maybe make a little bit extra and whilst making a little money on it would of course be nice it is not my main objective.(Strange I know but true). After checking around for any for sale and taking into account my costs I am listing this at what I consider a reasonable price @£2850 or reasonable offer payment and shipping method to be discussed but it will be sent insured and tracked under all circumstances a meeting in London or at my home in NW London is also possible. Here are some pictures and if you want or need any more feel free to ask but a great photographer I am afraid I am not.
I'm stunned that this is still here! The 166.0250 is not a common watch, and this looks to be a really good one - if I wasn't an owner already I'd be biting @Dogmann hand off. GLWS chap.
Fantastic news Marc! Congrats to yourself, and the new buyer... this is a seriously cool watch to own... he says, not biased in any way.
Watch is now sold to its new owner and many thanks to him for a smooth and trouble free face to face transaction and to OF for the facility to be able to list and sell on here. Marc
