Hello everyone,

I have a used, unpolished (excellent condition), highly collectible Omega Speedmaster ‘Alaska Project’. Selling for only £18,500 or best offer. Manufactured in 2008, and purchased from an Omega authorised dealer. It comes complete with outer lower card box, Omega leatherette box, user manual, factory warranty cards/ wallet stamped by the official Omega AD, plastic hang tags, x1 white textile velcro strap, x2 bracelets, links, thermal shield + all additional accessories, numbered ‘Alaska Project’ authenticity booklet (which matches case number). The watch is in excellent working condition, with some small signs of wear such as hairline scratches to case, bracelet and Hesalite crystal. The watch has been kept in my tough, watertight, dustproof, pressure equalised PELI 1450 watch case (not inc) in a temperature controlled room and opened once a month to give the movement a full wind.

The OMEGA Speedmaster is one of OMEGA’s most iconic timepieces. Having been a part of all six lunar missions, the legendary Speedmaster is an impressive representation of the brand’s adventurous pioneering spirit.

In this piece, one of OMEGA’s most innovative dreams became reality. Created in a limited edition of 1,970 pieces in 2008, the watch is based on the “Alaska II” project which used a “standard” Speedmaster with a modified dial and hands in conjunction with an outer anodized aluminium “thermal shield”. This allowed the watch to withstand temperatures, in lunar or spatial atmospheres, ranging from -148C to +260C.

The white dial, which better reflects the heat of the sun, is a popular choice amongst many collectors.

CRYSTAL
Hesalite crystal with OMEGA logo in the centre

WATCH CASE & DIAL

50 metres / 167 feet Water resistance
Chronograph
Small seconds
Tachymeter
Solid numbered case back. (number is particularly nice)

With only 1,970 (out of a large Speedmaster manufacturing run)produced, please consider the rarity, collectability, mythology and rising prices of this piece and grab a surefire modern collectible that is firmly cemented in Speedmaster history.

Selling at only £18,500 or best offer including international fully insured tracked DHL shipping.
Open to reasonable offers but kindly note NO trades please.
Face to face UK sale welcomed.

I am a longtime WUS and TRF member, ebay member since 2008 and with 100% positive feedback, with references available. Additionally, I am happy to meet at a secure location (police station or bank), via Zoom or Google Meet if you would like to view the watch and/ or discuss further.

I am a watch lover and collector and occasionally sell watches and not affiliated with Omega or any other brand.

The watch is from a smoke, pet free home, honest seller and will be packed well, so please buy with confidence.

Feel free to PM me with any questions or reasonable offers and I will endeavour to answer them as quickly as possible.

seriously, why put that on someones FS post?!?! What ever your opinions, have the common courtesy to create a separate post somewhere else. This post was created as a sale and not to open up a topic of debate.

I do agree that I was maybe out of line but your listing is now very nearly a year old. It suggests to me you’ve got something very wrong. You may think otherwise. Look on the bright side, you got a bump.

Please stop showing off, please stop being a keyboard warrior (no one is interested) and lastly stop posting nonsense and hijacking a FS board. My listing is a year old because from every July to around now I work abroad and choose to let the listing slide until I get back to the UK (check the bump dates). You don't know me or the watch but your insinuating on a public forum that I have "something very wrong"- through your clairvoyance- can you please elaborate what that is? It is very inflammatory to me and not befitting of decent manners. "I do agree that I was maybe out of line", a bit out of line- You are bang out of order!
Look on the bright side as well- most decent folk on this forum will have had a lesson on what cringe and/ or what idiocy looks like.

Many thanks tpatta, I’ve had ownership for a number of years and figured it was time for a change and let someone else enjoy it. Gone too is also my Tin Tin. Maybe a bit sacrilegious but I’m looking at a sapphire sandwich which will be a keeper.
