This is a wonderful time capsule – a circa 1968 Zodiac Aerospace GMT complete set. Zodiac watches were a military favorite during the Vietnam era as they were known for their build quality and excellent rugged movements. The Seawolf and the Aerospace GMT were popular icons at that time. This watch is also a great conversation starter with its handsome looks and fascinating history.

This GMT model with glossy black dial, and the black/grey insert with the green triangle at 12 is less common. It has a stainless steel case (36mm w/out crown) that appears to not have been polished (case number 2,094,544 is easily seen between the lugs), signed Zodiac crown, beautiful gloss black dial with applied markers, and the bi-directional rotating 24-hour bezel all in very good to excellent condition. The original JB Champion bracelet is sized for a 7.25 to 7.50 wrist with a crisp Zodiac clasp. The automatic Zodiac caliber 75 is 17 jewels, hack setting, with the date and 24-hour (Red GMT Hand) complication. It was serviced in 2013, worn sparingly and still runs well.

The set includes the watch, of course, and all the original accessories that came with it:

    - Outer and inner boxes including the price and display tags mounted in the display box.
    - Hang tag
    - 3 Booklets, Aerospace GMT instruction booklet, How to use the second hacking setting, and How to use the data set function
    - Warranty instructions and warranty card still in plastic (that’s been opened)

Asking price is $850 USD. I’m basing it on a comparable nice Aerospace GMT that sold very quickly as watch only and without the boxes and booklets. Price is net of any fees and includes shipping CONUS. No returns unless not as described or pictured.

Have many positive references under jinson. Thanks for the consideration.

Thanks for the interest .... several have asked for a wrist shot. Hopefully you'll agree the watch has very nice wrist presence (taken with iPhone).

If I didn't already have one of these, I'd be on to this set. These GMT watches wear very well on the wrist and are functional for world travel.

Several have asked for movement and caseback pictures. Here they are taken this morning.
