Sold a watch on eBay, buyer says a function "should not be like this"/"misleading"

@GuiltyBoomerang did you disclose size in the listing?

I had measurements listed as my second paragraph:

However I did not have "size" comparison photos/wrist shots as they were for repair (and I would imagine someone would see these and get a ruler...)

I’d use my text from earlier but include at the time the watch was made those where men’s sizes. If you research this or look at listings from collectors you will see I listed them correctly.

That’s my 2 cents. Which is also apparently the size of the watches 😉

Sorry. I totally missed the obvious fact that you listed the dimensions. If it's not too late, that should be your first point: "The exact dimensions of the watches were included in the second paragraph of the item description."

@FreelanceWriter @Foo2rama noted, I have sent a response back.

Already provided positive feedback when I saw it was delivered, they have not given any (and probably won't, so that's a free +1 for them and a loss of my time/money.)

Call eBay if the buyer leaves negative feedback and they’ll remove it. I made an offer on a watch this past week, the offer was accepted, funds transferred then the seller cancelled the transaction. My guess was seller’s remorse. I left the seller negative feedback and he responded by leaving me negative feedback. I called eBay and the feedback was removed within 24 hours. It’s a bit of a hassle but at least there is some recourse when dealing with increasing number of muppets on eBay

While I won't show the username of the buyer, they are currently selling a Bulova Accutron and have bought from an auction house down here in Australia...
Oh well there will always be one.

The sad thing is that you have to capitulate to these buyers or risk negative feedback, even though you are right and they are wrong.

I didn't think it was possible to leave negative buyer feedback for a while now? At least on USA eBay....

I believe it's the seller who can't leave negative feedback.

yes thats what I mean, the seller cannot leave negative feedback for the buyer, for exactly this reason (retaliatory)

Seller can not leave negative feedback. They can choose to leave a positive feedback with a neutral note, or none at all.

I actually left feedback when I saw that it was delivered...in a rather odd, macabre way, it's like farming for likes :/
