In unpolished condition, this 1963 stainless steel Seamaster dress model 166.010 has it's original silver sunburst dial with its early crosshair dial and "Coat hanger S" on the Seamaster script. (try searching for another one with this dial--yes, they are rare). The automatic 562 movement was serviced a few years ago and is running well as shown by the time grapher readings.

The 562 movement features a non-quick set date and you can you can advance the date by turning the minute hand between 9pm and 1am.

This early 166.010 Seamaster is complete with its signed flat clover-shaped winding crown.

The characteristic Hippocampus sea monster is featured on the screw-down caseback.

Onyx adorned markers and hands has never had the need for luminous material.

The classic bold 35mm case has strong straight lugs and a bold sloped bezel.

To show off the champagne colored silver sunburst dial I have coupled the watch with an 18mm olive green leather strap by Clockwork Synergy and an original vintage Omega buckle.

I love looking at this beautiful timepiece from what I consider the golden age of Omega watchmaking, but I'm just not wearing it enough to justify keeping it locked up...

And here are some current photos:

Here's my video review of this watch:

Plenty of references here, at WUS and TRF, but for some reason, mine here are hard to search since my name is so short, but here's a recent one: https://omegaforums.net/threads/div-was-a-pleasure-to-transact-with.164882/

Offered at $1100 shipped in the USA

Thank you for looking!

Very nice watch and an excellent choice for a new member to move up from a Geneve or Seamaster DeVille into mid-level Seamaster territory.
