Putting this up as a feeler. According to Longines heritage folks this serial comes back to:

“....identifies a wrist-chronograph in 18ct gold bearing the reference 8273, part of the Conquest collection. It is fitted with a mechanical manually wound movement, caliber 332 and was produced in 1970.”

The 332 is the Longines version of the famous Valjoux 72. The watch is running well but service history is unknown and I always assume vintage watches will need to be serviced and you should too.

The back has faded with 49 years of skin contact but the serial is still deep. There is a scratch on the back from somebody’s attempt to open it at some point. The dial looks fantastic in my opinion and it’s very clean. The watch is approximately 38x39mm

It’s on a custom 19mm Ostrich leg strap from Aaron Bespoke straps that is nearly new. The watch is solid 18k gold but the strap buckle is not.

I’m happy to keep it as well and I like it but I’m not wearing much yellow gold now and thinking about doing something different.

Willing to hear some trade options but I’m particularly interested in an older el primero a384 or a385.

Watch is currently in Dubai and welcome face to face but also willing to ship at buyers expense. Can also ship from the U.S. in mid-December. Plenty of references as buyer and seller so just let me know

Asking $5200. PayPal from buyers with references
