I think the key phrase is "sold off ebay".

 

I was closely watching this one and am disappointed it did not see through to the end. Oh well, someone looks to have gotten a nice piece.

 

Man, that listing has everything that a savvy (well read) collector likes to see on eBay. Doesn't say "Seamaster" anywhere, the description is nearly empty, and the seller isn't a mega dealer. Bummed I missed this one. Hope it ended up in the OF family.

 

Those are all very important, yes. Would have been better if the title read" "Watch" and the description: "Watch for sale. Needs new battery".

 

Interesting emailed seller an hour ago, told me they had a flood of emails didn't realize it's valve and decided to keep the watch? Sounds like some phishing going on!
