Described as Omega (so one may assume it is one) but no reference or serial mentioned. I'd say a 33.3 but then not 1960's

IMHO it is obvious that it is a cal 33.3 chronograph in a well know case design - 1960 is obviously wrong. (typo?), more like 1936

Yes to a certain degree but this is too sloppy. As if they want to be able to say: your call, we know nothing. Perhaps mismatching movement?

I've noticed this on a number of auctions. They don't want to be responsible for case marks when opening. Some cases can be extremely difficult to open and any damage could cost them money. Not only in loss of bids, but if the item doesn't sell and they ship a damaged case back to the seller.
