Aside from being an outdoorsy person (snowboarding, hiking, climbing, cycling) I also enjoy working on cars and motorcycles

My highly modded Volvo C30 T5/ Stage 2 Turbo upgrade and tune

My 2nd gen Acura Integra.
Note: This picture was taken on Halloween, thus the reason I was dressed as Venom

Some of my motorcycles (White Honda VTR250, Yellow Ducati Monster 800S i.e, Blue Honda CB1)

I've actually recently sold the Ducati so I could get this: Suzuki SV650

No idea. Never measured it.
The boat trailer was made from a 28' travel trailer.

Hey NN! It's Bond from WUS. How are you?

Faves? I love Pol Roger, Veuve and Krug V or NV (when I can afford it which is rare!). When I proposed to my lady, I gave her a ring but more importantly this and guzzled it at 9am in the morning out in Banff, Alberta...breakfast of champions 馃榿

We have similar tastes. Very good.

I have too many hobbies... LOL

Aside from watches, we bought a camper last year (instead of me getting my Omega PO). My family and I enjoy going camping here and there on the weekends. I have named the camper OMEGA.

The Amateur Radio bug bit me last year as well. This hobby can be as cheap or expensive as you want it too. So far, I have 2 Yaesu Radio's and I just picked up a Icom HF rig for long distance communications (working on getting that set up).

Might need some advice on HAM gear, I've got a ton of it dating back to the 30s that I need to unload, and thousands of vintage tubes and rectifiers.

That's such a scary thing to collect, the difference in value between close grades at the upper end of the scale and the number of fakes being passed in coin collecting is what keeps people like me out of it, you REALLY need to know your stuff to be into that.

I got my ICom 735 and dipole put up over the weekend, but still need an antenna tuner to get that SWR down over all the bands

I like fishing, land based or out of a kayak, wine, wine writing and judging, writing for fishing mags, playing and collecting acoustic guitars. I drive a Nissan 370 but am not a big car freak, next vehicle will probably be a 5 seat camper

You probably need to buy some books on antenna theory. The first thing I realised was that I was a slave to the amount of effort I put into getting the antenna right. You can also have an "amazing" amount of fun making your own antenna and seeing just how good you can get it. getting round the world comms on .25 to .5 of a watt using Morse really makes you feel quite special.

good luck and keep us informed how you're going.

Should probably get you guys to let me know what half the HAM gear I've got around here is, ranges from WW2 to 1980s and there's tons of it.

Getting the photos now, there's also a heap of aircraft parts, several thousand valves rectifiers and whatnot, and like... half an airport radar tower system from the 1960s

I've a question for you Ash. How save is it rooting through those old boxes with all those deadly creepy crawlies hiding in your garage ??.
