Forged my first couple of knives this weekend. Very satisfying in a primal sort of way. My better half had arranged a two day course as a gift.

Used Uddeholm 15N20 steel. Teacher was Tommy Berggren at Fjäderholmarna, Stockholm. My own tool of choice for the occasion - Sea-Dweller och Rubber-B.

The knives came out sharp as razors - a little arty and rough but razor sharp. I am sore and wasted. Satisfied. Not seeing myself quitting my daytime job in the near future though...😉

Very impressive. Are you going to build a handle for it?

Decided to keep the E46 330ci longer term, went some new Style 68 OEM wheels, Koni FSD shocks (Very cool tech btw) and Eibach ProKit springs, Hotchkis sway bars, new bushings and control arms, having the suspension refresh done next week, can't wait to drive it the way it always should have been.

Four wheels but a bit slower than Ash.
Top of our list is touring Europe in our motorhome, occasional tourist resorts but mainly off the beaten track.

I am a massive Porsche fan, having owned a 997 C4s (a car i miss dearly) and a 964 Carrera 4 it put me in to collecting Porsche 1:43 scale models, i am now at 45 and counting… i only collect the 911 from inception to present day… I'm not going to post all 45 so here are a couple...

I can't believe I have not noticed this thread before but other than collecting vintage watches I an into:

Amateur watchmaking

Sports Cars and track day driving (I'm not sure which dominates):

Porsche 996 Targa🙁Brands Hatch) Paddock Hill Bend

Porsche 964RS (Brands Hatch) Druids Hairpin

Porsche 964RS (Brands Hatch) Surtees/McLarens

Porsche 964RS - Snetterton

Porsche 964RS - Nurburgring Nordschleiffe

..... and now I'm looking forward to taking this on track next year:

When I am not doing this, I like watching Superbike racing:

I used to be into cars but then I learnt to fly helicopters.

Unfortunately I can't afford to fly them these days.

From the size of that Salty, I think you need a bigger boat mate 😉

Have a bigger boat but the one in photo does all the work in croc country.

Mate comes up from Melbourne every year fishing for a few weeks and we call it the Croc Bait Tours see shirt in photo.

I am the local that doesn't go in the water and takes the photos

Is that a baramundi? Is it edible?
