Took out my full kit Fat Lady today, I love these early glossy dials.

Sasquatch wears a GMT? Who knew?

Could you actually contribute to this thread with a Rolex GMT instead of merely heckling at other people's arms like a real life Nelson Muntz?

Here's my arm:

I saw this one for sale. Am I correct that it’s an early service dial (or Mark 6)?

Looks to be a service dial. Drop me a PM if you are after a 1675 GMT.

It’s a service dial for sure, but If the price is right, why not.

This was my 1675.
I had to sell last year to raise money for a not watch-related project.
Hope to have the opportunity to buy a similar one at some point.

Need the experts eyes on this GMT booklet, does anything stand out to being counterfeit.

Appreciate the help.

One of the best things you can do is smell the booklet, that is one of the best ways! The other is with a loupe but for both you need it in your hand unfortunately. My only observation is that the staples look very new for an old booklet.

Modern contribution here... although the model is discontinued (already)! 😁

Thanks, Lee.

I tried to magnify the image as much as possible to see if there is any pixelation, didn’t see any. Smelling it is a tried and true way, but as you mention, I have to physically have possession of the booklet.

I checked other images online, the staples looked good. Then again, I’m no expert on these and with the crazy prices they command, I’d rather error on side of caution.

Probably one of the best modern rolexes out there. The color combo was so ingenious, not to mention it goes with anything you wear. I’m not much of a modern collector, but the Batman was one I had to have when it was first released.

Couldn't agree more with you: it goes with anything I wear... but since I am mostly in the black and blue colors for my garments, no wonder.
But seriously, this watch is indeed amazing. Feel so fortunate now that I was able to buy mine at RRP in 2014!!
