Bought in 2015 and arriving in 2016, it is the perfect way to end one year and start another. While I don't exactly need another 165.024, I figured what the heck. This 24m serial 1966 appears to have the original Naiad crown, a different bezel version the mine with the bold condensed font - rounded top '3' - flat top '4' - horizontal serif on '1', the dial and hands have a nice even patina, the HF case looks sharp with a possible factory finish, the 552 movement looks pretty darn clean, and I suspect the crystal is original too.

Knocking on wood, praying to the watch Gods, etc., etc., and continuing the good watch karma that has been building in 2015, the watch is in FedEx's hands and should arrive on Saturday.

 

So you are the one who snapped it, well done. I have a good feeling about this watch and the price you got it from.

I think that a different case maker, movement, bezel, and production year qualify it is a completely different watch than my other one. Plus, there is no way for my wife to able to differentiate it from the other!
