    I wanted to share this because I find the photos quite amazing. We've all heard that no two snowflakes are the same, but few of us know just how much they do vary in structure and shape.

    Not long ago I watched a show that is quite popular here called The Nature of Things, and the specific episode was called Chasing Snowflakes. It covered research about snowflakes and snow, but also showed a photographer who was quite good at photographing individual snowflakes. Not sure it would be available in all regions, but here is a link you can try for the show:

    I remembered the name of the photographer and looked for him on the internet and found one of his sites that is dedicated to snowflake photography:

    Have a look because some of the photos are pretty amazing. I have been around snow my whole life and never knew the variety of snowflakes that were out there. What surprised me the most was the colours in some of them!
