Hey your wrist looks a lot like mine. This watch is not mine only trying, not buying

Wow! What a watch to “try”!

Thats why I tried, the unicorn Jumbo. They have this as a used piece for 40k € at my AD, the same that I'm on Snoopy list. No news about Snoopy here in Portugal

Amid all the fabulousness of the watch, I find myself especially charmed by the travel watch box feature you note - just a lovely idea, even if o e never actually uses it, and emblematic of the creative thought and attention to detail Omega has put into this package.

I agree on the travel box concept but the travel watch box inside the main box is not new, my Roger Dubuis Spider that I've had since Dec 2017 has that same trick. Seems like Richemont beat Swatch Group to market, and maybe it's even older.

Thanks -- wasn't aware of that, although I have read about a few of those watches. Very striking pieces.

I know that with my last IWC I got a "collector's box" with slots for several of their standard leather case/ travel cases, so an owner can pull one to travel with and then just plug it back in on return, but it's a bit unwieldy by comparison. The Snoopy "boxlet" just struck me as a neat, thoughtful extra touch.

I took a few pics but it‘s hard to catch the difference... The weather is foggy resulting in dull pictures. It‘s more pronounced under artificial light.
You’re doing the community proud, thanks for indulging.
That panda already has presence but that Snoopy is something else!

Quick question, from someone who has yet to handle a 3861-based Omega: how do you find the winding action and ease of winding in the Snoopy?

I can tell you based on the Apollo 11 that it was very stiff to start with and took a month to loosen. Now it’s no more difficult than any of my 1861’s

It was similar with my Apollo 11 but I don't have an 1861 to compare it against.

Would love to help you with an answer but I have just wound it without paying attention to the force needed. Will check in a few hours...

Congratulations.....the white balance would have to be corrected.
A stunning watch though...

I’ve had my 3861 for over a year now and wear and wind it quite often. In the beginning it was super stiff to the point where I thought may be it’s a fault.. my FOIS is smooth as butter to wind and it’s such a pleasure.. the winding on the 3861 has become much better since I first got it but it still is on the relatively stiffer side. Not a negative at all but a ‘good to know’. Hope this helps.

Many thanks for the detaiLed response.

I also find my FOIS a pleasure to wind, but returned a Speedy Pro because I found the combo of crown guards and stiff crown extremely difficult to use.

Glad to know that it gets better, though!

since we are talking about winding - may i just ask the following - on my speedy (FOIS) my fingers are way too large to grasp the crown between thumb and finger and turn, so i lean my finger against the back of the crown (with dial facing me) and just turn with one finger i.e. by moving the finger down, it's quite a natural movement and turns easy - but wondering whether any experts on here would say that it shouldn't be wound that way as it exerts too much pressure on one side of the crown or some other related issue..?

Looks great under natural light! More details and pics to follow once I‘m back from the OB.

Update: Edited the white balance of the pics to compensate for the lighting in the boutique.

Congratulation - I am still waiting on the call from my OB. Looks awesome

A picture of the snoopy under the sunlight!
The blu of the bezel is outstanding ( and very difficult to photograph)
Congratulation
