My Snoopy 1 Speedmaster arrived back from Omega service today, and I am gobsmacked. For $625 I have what is essentially a new watch.

Note that this was a standard service, not a repair. The watch was running perfectly when it was sent in for service in late April. Here's a shot of the parts replaced during the process.

Note that the main chassis component of the movement was replaced, as was a major bridge and what seems like all of the gears. It also appears that the main spring and barrel have been replaced.

When you consider that this process also comes with a two year warranty, I am thrilled with both the work performed and the price. I also grabbed an Omega/NASA strap when I picked it up. After I wear it on the bracelet for a couple of weeks I'll switch the straps out.
