Smudges on inside of new Omega Speedmaster crystal

Bought this Omega new and just after one week it has started to condense on inside of hesalite crystal. As so now I'm seeing like finger print smudges on inside of hesalite crystal.
What to do?
Any ideas?

Take it back for warranty.
Omega will fix it pronto.
Does it matter if I'm not the registered owner?
I have warranty card stamped.
What is the process of it all? Do I send it to Omega by post, take it to a certified technician/dealer and have them send it in or fix the issue?

A question... if one buys a watch on the used market that is still with warranty, is the warranty still valid? Or does it become void if a watch is sold?
Many thanks

The warranty is transferable. If you go to your local AD with the cards, they will take care of you.

The warrantee follows the watch. I purchased an Aqua Terra second hand a few years ago, and sent it back under warrantee for condensation under the crystal. Omega serviced it under warrantee and added another two years on top of the remaining original warrantee after the service. At least pre-Covid, they were pretty good about expediting warrantee work. Got my Aqua Terra back in 4 weeks.

When I send my watch back, I took it into my nearest AD. They packed and shipped the watch to Omega, and then called me to pick it up at the AD when it was done. The AD charged me for the shipping and insurance at their cost, and then added a ~$20 fee for the packing and documentation of the pre-shipment condition (they took a bunch of pictures and filled out a form describing the condition). Seemed like a fair cost for the piece of mind that the packing was well done.

Sorry to be an absolute dimwit but what is AD?
I see it being used but not figured it out.

Thanks for this. It's calmed my mind down a lot. Very kind of you to fill me in on this.

No need to apologize

OB= Omega Boutique

I believe an Omega Boutique, if you have one nearby, would take care of the shipping free of charge. At least with IWC that's the case.

I’d prefer to go to Omega’s website and look for the nearest Omega Boutique and call them. They will help you.

Having a stamped plastic card in your hand is all you need to repair the watch under guarantee. No need to worry about registering or sequence of ownership.

Yes I know it must seem conflicting. The watch was new, but bought on ebay so I didn't purchase from an AD.

In that case, anything could have been done to the watch by the previous owner, so I personally wouldn't consider it "new". That's irrelevant, however, and as long as Omega honors the warranty, you should be fine.

If an OB is convenient to you, that would be a way to get some personal customer service. However, I would probably just prefer to deal directly with a service center. The fewer intermediaries involved, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
