So guys I am confused..I thought the old SMP with wavy dial was Quartz only then the new ceramic model was the 2500 movement etc..but then I saw this!? Appears to be automatic? Assuming this is steel bezel but is this between the old quartz one and the new ceramic? Take its discontinued??

No, also came in automatic with cal. 1120 movement. Yes the old version is discontinued, but can be had on the secondary market. The cal. 1120 is a great robust movement.

Aluminum bezel, non co-axial movement as stated above. The reference is 2531, I think.

There is also an in-between model, a co-axial version with aluminium bezel and wavy dial. I have one myself.

That one was the 2220.80. I don't know how long it was in production - but Daniel Craig wore the prototype in Casino Royale, specifically during the main poker game in the casino.
