Smitten With The Blues

So the wife n I were downtown the other day to look at watches; my fiftieth birthday is not far off. At any rate, I finally caught sight of one of those 40mm Trésors… and man, I was utterly blown away! 😲👍
There’s something about that linen dial that was absolutely mesmerizing! I loved the play of light across the linen dial, sending it from a dark and deep tone (if in the shadows) up to a brilliant ice blue (in direct sunlight). Returning to the AD today, they let me just sit in their lounge while I wore it, giving me the chance to really experience wearing it. Despite these decidedly-Asian’ish-wrists that top out at 6.25”, the Trésor’s compact lug to lug let all 40mm of that thin case sit perfectly in place! Despite the fact that I normally stay at or below 39mm, the Trésor just felt at home!

Got to wait for the next paycheck to bring my available funds up to snuff, but once there, this is happening!!! 😁
