Small white stripes on my First Omega In Space dial (2012)

Hi guys, I have a First Omega In Space. In certain light I can see three white stripes on the dial. What could this be and is this normal for these watches? It can be seen in outside light and with a flashlight on the dial for example. Are these just lacquer imperfections or dust etc?

Love to hear from you guys.

Are you sure it’s not more significant? Like the guy who saw Jesus in his toast, or when Simba saw Mufasa in the clouds?

Has anything recently changed that might have brought this about (e.g. the crystal having been taken off during a service?) or have you always noticed it?

Purely speculating, it could be that the marks are on the crystal rather than the dial; or it could be that you are just noticing different ways in which the light catches the dial.

Just enjoy your watch before you make yourself go crazy trying to look at things.

Here's a good piece of advice for newbie collectors: Put the loupe down. Another one: Quit checking the rate, especially with a Timegrapher. The goal is to wear a watch and enjoy it, don't make it a science project.
