Small Omega sign on Hensalite

I thought I had managed to put my first mark on the Hensalite which I’m ok about, but on closer inspection it’s a very small Omega sign. Very much like Rolex etches on their crystal. Is this how it’s always been or is it a newer thing?...is it etched on the Hensalite?

Not always, but been done for decades. Stamped on the inside of the crystal.

I was actually wondering if it will be removed when using polywatch to make scratches go away...
If I understand you correctly the stamp is at the center of the crystel and not on the surface, right?

It's stamped from the inside - unless you polish all the way through the crystal, you won't remove it.

Stamped into the inside surface of the Crystal of the Omega Hesalite.
It's not unique to the Speedy either, as other Hesalite Omega watches have also had it on service Crystals for quite a long time now.

In the case of the Rolex Coronet, it's fused into the central zone of the Crystal thickness by mulitiple converging laser beams at a single point. The resulting melted dots are then arranged in a pattern to resemble the Rolex Coronet at the bottom of the Crystal in the 6 o'clock position.
