I've just looked at my new seamaster under a loupe and the white dots and the number one 20200704_203647~2.jpg have very small black dots on them like whatever is used for the white is missing. Does anyone gave the same or know what material the white dots are. They are not visible to the naked eye

Ah yes...the dreaded "Let's look at it with the loupe " addiction. Second only to "I need another watch". I always expect to see the rings of Saturn or allien life... It hasn't stopped me yet. :)

    have fun

So it's only visible under high magnification? I cannot for the life of me see whatever it is you are describing. If it is not visible to the naked eye, maybe let it go? If you are concerned about microscopic levels of missing paint, just wait until you scratch it through regular use ;) Every watch under high magnification will present an "imperfection." Look at any brand new Rolex with painted hour, minute, seconds, GMT hand, and you will see the most minute level of imperfection under high magnification.

I only looked as watched video on watchfinder about fakes that are so good that you need to look under a loupe to see the imperfections so I looked and found loads. I know it’s not fake as bought from omega and wish I hadn’t looked now

Watches, like people, should be viewed under subdued lighting, after a glass or two of your favorite beverage- and they are all beautiful and perfect.

Hi, they changed my bezel when I complained about it. And now there is no marks.

Good to you, had the same issue with my previous one. It’s quite normal in almost all seamasters. I hope they improve painting in the new production ones but seen photos 1 month ago from new one from ad and had black markings on bezel. It’s a bit shame because I had a lot of cheaper ceramic bezel watches and there was no issue with it.

Just wait to you get old……….. you’ll be glad to see imperfections……because you’ll be glad to see any bloody thing at all!
I had an old mate, Rupert (RIP) the poor bugger was blind, we always joked about anything that was a bit rough with:
“ Rupert would be glad to see it” something he would always be amused by.

Yeah I agree. But it was no problem getting it changed. Just went to AD and they send watch for Omega and 2-3 weeks after bezel replaced :)
