Has anyone tried to put an Omega mesh bracelet on their new Seamaster 300 Vintage Master Co-Ax? I think it would look great and I am looking for something to use to preserve the original bracelet. My issue is, the original bracelet measures 21mm. The mesh bracelets come in 20 and 22 mm widths. Any suggestions? Thanks Don
Hi I resently bought one from Strap Code. Pretty nice quality. Check: http://www.strapcode.com/store/23mm-mesh-band-c-128.html?infoBox=2
Here is the bracelet that should fit your new SM300. It is made to fit the 21mm and 22mm lugs since it has open mesh ends and has an Omega style clasp. My only complaint with the bracelet is the clasp is 22mm and it wears big on a 42mm watch. http://www.strapcode.com/store/21mm...atbelt-strap-brushed-p-2460.html#.VPXzj-H_qJc
Thanks!! I think the clasp on the original bracelet is about 22 mm as well. What I should likely do is just wear the thing and forget about it. It's not like I'm going to sell it anyway.
I think they look good but not as good as the original bracelet. You had a picture of yours with a NATO strap that looked really good. I've been thinking of going that way instead. What width did you order for the NATO strap? Thanks Don
I used 22mm. Also tried 20mm but there was a noticed gap. 22mm was ok. I didn't have to squeeze it. If you can't find a decent 21mm go for 22mm. Today I fited a 22mm rubber with ease too.
Thank you. You too. I would like my next watch to be PO 8500. I miss PO 2500 that I used to have. I tried that rubber. What's your opinion?
I like the rubber but I still think your NATO looks better. I really like my planet ocean 8500 as well I put this strap on it yesterday.
Hey Ripper. What about this strap? http://www.strapcode.com/store/21mm...dome-deployant-clasp-p-3054.html#.VPY0e4Y8KrU
I like it. Cool buckle and it's 21mm. On the picture it looks like the stitching matches lume colour. But in description it says Olive green. Hmm....?
