What do you think of this? Sellers claims this is original vintage piece :

Looks brand new to be vintage, no?

More likely a watch put together from NOS parts.

A vintage reference but not entirely vintage, in that the parts are new genuine parts mated with a vintage movement.

Nothing wrong with doing this its just not a truly vintage watch.

So you can't expect this watch to be really from the 60s in this mint NOS condition?

Either the seller got fooled when he bought it or he's trying to fool the next buyer.

That's another WatchCo special I reckon--dial, hands, bezel modern Luminova replacements and NOS case. Popular in their own right but not vintage, IMO. More like an homage.
    Best,

Ask Lou S what he thinks about watch dealers from the Holy Land.

The fact that the reference is 166.0324 rather than 166.024 means its a modern put together piece, that new reference was released on the newer cases.

Last time I was in there (about a month ago) they had no 300 cases left and weren't sure when they could get more.
I certainly glad I got mine when I did, the price rise in the last year or so is scary.
