SM300 165.024 1967 - correct metal bracelet?

Hi,
I'm slightly confused regarding the metal bracelet options for a Seamaster 300 (165.024) '67.
Is it correct that they were sold with both 1035 and 1039 bracelets, both fitted with 516 end links?
If so, both 1035 and 1039 would be considered reasonably model correct?

Not exactly.
Since the 165.024 has 20mm wide lugs, the 1039 with 516 end links is more appropriate.
The 1035 can be used but it was designed for 19mm lugs.
