$930 for a buckle. 馃槻

Solid 18k gold buckle though - really depends on the weight but Omega's buckles are priced slightly less, but not a ton.

My PO (8500) is a bit over 5 years old and stopped working a few months ago. It has been with Swatch service for a couple of months waiting for parts to come in. I was really upset it stopped working and not happy to have to pay $700 for it to be fixed, but realized that it is a watch and the parts are small and precise, so I am actually ok with spending the money. I am not ok that it stopped working after 5 years.
I hope after the restore it lasts for more than another 5 years.

Hi. I checked my documents and I bought it new in 2013. I honestly didn鈥檛 think it was that old, so will get it serviced with Omega ASAP. Omega say 5-8 years for the service so should be good. To be fair though it hasn鈥檛 missed a beat and still looks brand new
Like Archer Mentioned, The Omega Boutique gave you a chronograph service price, your watch is a non chronograph/Mechanical therefore it will be close to $680 CAD not $950 CAD, you can also send it straight to an Omega service centre yourself and by pass the boutique and get a direct free estimate there.

That鈥檚 what I always do anyways I don鈥檛 like playing middle man with the AD鈥檚 and Boutiques I guess. Either way Omega Service centres can鈥檛 proceed unless you authorize the repair and you don鈥檛 have to follow every replacement they offer.

There鈥檚 even a calculator for you lolol

Odd that the pressure test was done to only +3 bar...

The watch is rated to 600m, and they tested it to just 30. The machine they used (same as mine) is capable of testing to 100m.

Thanks for the explanation. I have asked the service center why.
I would have expected more from them.

Hi @Archer, is that not good? I don鈥檛 understand the significance. 馃槙

Now you must limit your recreational diving to 30m/100ft 馃榾

Exactly my thought. I would not be happy with that. Maybe they are basically saying that they couldn't get the watch to pass a real pressure test.

I doubt that's the case, as all the sealing parts have been replaced. The other odd thing is that the service card doesn't indicate that a dive pressure test was done, and that would be mandatory fore this watch.

Deepest I鈥檝e gone with the watch is 60 feet, but still. Seems wrong to not put it back to factory specs. it is sad that I don鈥檛 know what that means from the paperwork they provide
