Sloppy Lume on 2254.50?

Recently picked up a 2254.50 for the second time. I had one for a while several years ago but it was overpolished and badly in need a service so I decided to move it on instead of sinking more money into it. The example I got the other day is in much better condition and although it doesn't have paperwork to prove it does seem to have been serviced fairly recently based on how it's running. My question is about the printed and filled lume plots on the dial. I noticed on mine some of them are filled a bit "sloppy", most notably the 12 o clock triangle. It isn't super noticeable all the time but you can see the lume spilling over onto the white border on the sides. It is much more clear when the lume is lit up. At first I was worried about it's authenticity or the possibility it had been relumed but that doesn't seem reasonable since the dials are still available at service. Is this just a product of the design and the manufacturing processes of the time it was produced? Or does something appear to be off with the dial? As stated before everything else as far as condition checks the boxes for me so if it is relatively "normal" I will live with it and enjoy the watch as is for now. Thanks for the help

I’ve personally never seen sloppy lume like that on any of the sword hand family of that generation.

If it is an issue or not, no idea, I’ve never seen repos or anyone talk about sloppy factory dials. But, it would bug me if I could see it with the naked eye.

My 2255.80 says hello

I’ve seen lume degradation but this looks more like poor factory application. Yours is a great example of what I assume it should look like and I don’t remember the dial on the watch I used to own having any issues, at least with the lume

It's wild. It almost looks like a really bad relume, but I don't know why anyone would have needed to re-lume this dial

Thats exactly what I was wondering, it seems like it would be more trouble than it would be worth
