Something interesting or unknown or unknown to me - analogue hands running while digital screen off. To be honest I had this feature on Breitling Aerospace Evo and I liked it. Most of the time I had my hands running while display was off. I did not find anything about such possibility neither in X33 instruction manual nor on any forums. I think it was possible on previous generations of the watch.

What I accidentally found out while leaving the watch running in the box (usually I put it into sleep mode, unless I forget) that such possibility exists, just don't know how to force it. Definietly it is NOT the first time I took the watch out of the box after few days and the digital display is off, while hands are running.

On my gen 2 I long press left top pusher.
Does not work here. When I push and hold upper left it blinks for fraction of a second and that's it.

The display automatically shuts off after a few days (5 I think). If you press any button, to my recollection, it should come back on. There is no way to force the display off, with analogue running.

That's what I was thinking, but was not sure when it turns off the display and based on what. So that means no button activity. I guesws there is no gyro inside the watch to check whether it is stationary or in motion on the wrist.

Since the watch is basically the highest tech timer I'm personally familiar with, my conclusion would be the watch has programming that triggers the shutdown of the digital display based on a timing interval (since the last pusher actuation).

Can't force the LCD off while hands still running around the dial. It shuts down after a certain amount of time after any buttons are pressed to save power.

What can be done is pulling out the crown. That will shut of the LCD and return all hands to 12 o'clock.
